To be a powerful leader in food and agricultural marketing

Mission

To develop an efficient and effective food and agricultural marketing chain in order to sustain customer value

Objectives

  1. To actualize the Country Vision and Agriculture Policy to make Malaysia as global prime food importer in food and agriculture products.
  2. To develop efficient and effective of marketing infrastructure and supply chain system.
  3. To develop marketing and increase in agriculture product’s demand either locally and internationally.
  4. Utilizing human resources ability in the agriculture marketing based on knowledge and advance technology.

 

Main Functions

  1. To coordinate agricultural marketing activities either in private sector or government departments/ agencies.
  2. To improve the marketing system and new market expansion and development for Malaysia's agricultural produce.
  3. To collaborate with the private sector and Government department / agencies in creating an efficient and effective agriculture marketing system.
  4. To develop and enhance management efficiency in agricultural industry related to marketing activities or processing of agricultural products.
  5. To be directly involves in the agriculture industry especially in marketing activities or processing of agricultural products.
