Grade Confirmation Fruit (To Export Purposes)

Marketing Board Rules Federal Agricultural (Fruits Exporting Licensing) , 1990

Rules Requirement
All fruits want to be exported, should is graded according to specifications are decided by FAMA .
  • All fruits that will be exported, should be graded according to specifications that are decided by FAMA.
  • FAMA will give confirmation grading to all fruits before permitted for export. Grade certificate will be issued.

Types Of Fruits Compelled for confirmation Grade
  • B10's Starfruit - to export to European Union, West Asia and Canada only.
  • Exotic Papaya - to export to all country, except Singapore .

Application Ways
Fill FG1 form and send through fax to FAMA KLIA's office at least 2 days prior inspection date if pass would be made through sea, or at least 24 hours before inspection date if if the delivery made by air.

For delivery through sea only (inspection in exporter premise)/ FAMA Headquater premise (Fax No. : 03-61206957)
  • Premis Pengeksport
    Untuk hantaran melalui laut sahaja (Pengesahan gred akan dilakukan oleh FAMA)
  • Pusat Pemeriksaan Kualiti Hasil Pertanian KLIA
    Untuk hantaran melalui udara sahaja
  • Self-Regulated By Regulated Entities (SRBRE)
    Pengesahan gred dilakukan sendiri oleh jurugred yang bertauliah dipremis pengeskport

Special provision Before Grade Confirmation By Fama 
Exporter must have a valid fruit export licence inspection date by FAMA

Payment
  • Starfruit - 3 sen/kg.
  • Exotic Papaya - RM5.00 for testing in KLIA Inspection centres and Quality Of Agricultural Produce and RM20.00 for testing elsewhere .
